Please join us in praising God for these answered prayers:

1. Even though we were not able to purchase the building we were looking at, we did see God raise up $100,000 towards purchasing a property. Praise Him for this abundant provision.

2. We have had several families start worshipping with us on a regular basis and have seen a couple of them join in the past few months.

Please continue to boldly ask God for the following:

1. That God would give us greater boldness in inviting friends, neighbors, and co-workers to services, bible studies, and into our lives.

2. That God would tenderly comfort some who are struggling greatly at this time.

3. That we would experience the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace in our midst.

1. Praise God for new attendees to CTR, particularly as a result of our ESL ministry.

2. We're thankful for improvements to our facility space that come at no cost to our church and give us an extra classroom for ministry and discipleship as well as greater visibility and easier access for guests.

3. Pray for Pastor Taylor as he preaches a sermon series on giving in the New Year and for our commitment to the Lord in this area.

4. Pray for a greater spirit of unity and for ways for the session to foster community among our members.

5. Please pray for us to fulfill our 2012 goal of sharing about Christ and CTR more openly with all those whose lives we touch.

1. Rejoice with us over all that God has done, is doing, and will do in his church in Lewiston-Auburn. Pray for our time celebrating that this Sunday as Presbytery ordains and installs our first elders.

2. Pray for the many folks in our area who are POOR. We have so many who are poor – for many reasons, not all of their own doing. Lately we are getting requests for financial assistance a lot. We, and all the other mercy organizations in our town, cannot keep up with all the needs. Pray for us to bring the grace and mercy of God to our community through every relationship he gives us.

3. Pray for Ken and Jordan's Bridge. Pray for the clients he is counseling that they would experience the transformed hearts and restored relationship that comes from the grace of God at work in them.

4. Rejoice with us as we receive about 15 new members over the coming weeks and pray that God would continue to draw more people to himself and to his church.

5. Pray for health, wisdom, and grace for Ken and Kevin as they adjust to serving as elders in the church.

1. Day Camp 2011- we praise God for bringing us 47 campers to our day camp held at Camp Shiloh at the end of June. There were many children there (ages 7-12) who were unchurched and unfamiliar with the Bible and the gospel. We pray that God will give us other opportunities to minister to them and their families.
2. Street Fair 2011- On July 30 our church will be taking part in the Lancaster Street fair. We will have a table set up with information about our church along with Bibles, tracks, booklets, etc. to hand out to those interested. Pray that the Lord would use this time to connect with people in our community who are unchurched.
3. Pray for one member of our church who is suffering from lung cancer and a husband of another member of the church who is suffering and dying from bone cancer.
4. Praise God for two girls who have completed the communicant members class and have been approved by the session to become communicant members.
5. Pray that the Lord would add to our number those being saved and that he would continue to provide for our church the funds necessary to continue ministry here in northern NH.

3. We have a group of communicants going through a class and study guide in preparation for their first communion.

1. Give thanks to God that our community bowling night went well. A number of families came that had no connection to Free Grace. Pray that God would be at work in these relationships.
2. Pray for God to work in the other activities of the church in the community. Ask that he would work through the new men's group that is starting and the family movie time with the public library to make the community aware of Free Grace and bring others to the church to hear the gospel of Christ.
3. Pray that God would continue to bring people to Jordan's Bridge (our Christian counseling center) seeking the healing of the gospel. Pray for wisdom and grace for Ken Morris, our director of counseling, as he counsels. Pray for those who come that they would find healing in the Christ and give him the glory. Praise God for providing an office in Portland allowing Ken to see clients there as well.

1) Covenant Children: We are thankful to the Lord for the safe births of four new covenant children over the past few months, and for the twelve covenant children who have been baptized at our church this year. Featured Church/Mission: Free Grace Presbyterian Mission, Lewiston, ME (Pastor Per Almquist)
1. Pray for Lewiston-Auburn and all of central Maine. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be moving in a mighty way, calling many to his name. Pray that the church in the area would stand faithful, proclaiming boldly, clearly, and graciously the gospel of Jesus Christ.
2. Pray that those who have been exploring what Free Grace is all about would be drawn to committing to the church. Pray for God to draw others to us for his glory. Pray for those who are coming to hear God's call to them to seek his kingdom first trusting that all else will be added.
3. Rejoice that Jordan's Bridge Christian Counseling is now open and seeing clients. Pray that Ken, our director of counseling, would be able to meet those in the community who know people seeking counseling. Pray that God would draw to Jordan's Bridge the clients he has prepared for Ken.
4. Give thanks for God's provision of a part-time job for Linda to supplement her work for the church. This is an answer to prayer and an encouragement as several others at Free Grace are need of seeing God's providential care in their own lives.
5. Pray that we would rest in the joy of being loved by God. That we would not struggle to earn his love or anything of this earth (including a new church) but find our peace and hope in our triune God whose steadfast love endures forever.

Shiloh: Please pray for adequate income to keep current with expenses and to pay down the outstanding property tax bill and camp ground engineering fees. Please ask the Lord to fill our weekends with retreats and our 4 weeks of camp; please also pray that the Lord would continue to provide ministry coordinators Ken Todd and Greg Gordon with off-site work through early July and again as soon as camp ends.
Faith Presbyterian Church:
a. Praise God for the 32 children that attended our day camp (June 22-26). Pray that God would produce fruit from this ministry and that our church would be able to follow up with these families.

Featured Church/Mission: Exeter Presbyterian Church (Pastor Steve Magee)
1. Please pray for those who will have attended our first Big Questions forum on Bioethics on May 1st. Our panel (Exeter's State Senator Maggie Hassan, local pathologist Phil Tisdall, and OPC pastor Greg Reynolds), will speak from different perspectives on the question of human dignity, and the limits that a respect for this places on scientific research. Pray for the forum itself, and then especially for whatever fruitfulness the Lord will choose to bring from this event after the forum.
2. Thank God for His provision of two additional elders and a new deacon, and for the peace that we have enjoyed together as leaders and as a congregation. Our three year theme is Unity in Christ, in prayer, word, and service.
3. Please pray for our expanding weekly Women's Study groups that Candy is leading. They are studying heaven together. Please also pray for a GriefShare class that Candy and I are planning to lead beginning in September.
4. We are studying the Kingdom of God and the Means of Grace for the next ten weeks in adult Sunday School. Please pray that we will all seek and find greater communion with God and further fruitfulness of faith working through love as a result of these studies. Please also pray for the good use of the daily and weekly written tools that are produced for the spiritual growth of those who wish to use them.
5. Ask the Father to draw people in the Exeter area to His Son, and to gather people into the churches, people who are attempting to live Christian lives by themselves- people with no vital connection to the visble church- people who used to worship God with others but ran away from the church and/or were somehow driven away by churches.

Prayer Update: Trinity Presbyterian Church of St. Albans, VT (Pastor Seth Anderson)
1. Wisdom and guidance for the new commission governing Trinity Presbyterian.
2. That God would raise up new leaders from our congregation.
3. That we as a congregation would seek to love people well.

Featured Potential Church Planting Site: Raymond, New Hampshire
1. Pray for people of the growing town of Raymond (located between Exeter and Manchester in southeastern New Hampshire) and especially for the spiritual growth of the many young families in town.
2. Pray for the progress of the church in Raymond and the surrounding communities.
3. Pray that God would raise up men equipped to plant churches in the small towns of northern New England.

MNA Committee work:
1. Pray for the committee’s continued efforts toward connecting with potential partners in prayer, giving, and ministry for the work in northern New England.
2. Pray for good fruit from the committee’s meeting with David Runnion-Bareford on the topic of filling open pulpits in the region.

1. Pray for Seth Anderson and his family as he is ordained and installed as pastor of Trinity Presbyterian on Sunday, November 9. Pray for the Spirit’s blessing upon his continued ministry to that congregation.
2. Pray for fruitfulness in worship and witness for the members of Trinity Presbyterian.
3. Pray for the expansion of the church in northern Vermont and for opportunities for church planting throughout the state.

1. Pray for the work of God’s Spirit in the north country of New Hampshire and especially in the town of Berlin.
2. Pray for good economic opportunities for the people of Berlin and the surrounding region.
3. Pray for the resources necessary for the planting of churches in the rural regions of northern New England.

Featured Church/Mission: Exeter Presbyterian Church (Pastor Steve Magee)
1. Pray for the work of the Holy Spirit in the continued progress of the teaching ministry of the church and the worship and witness of the congregation.
2. Pray for God’s blessing upon the congregation in their efforts to pursue greater unity in Christ through prayer.
3. Pray for the remaining steps toward the ordination of new officers, including the examination of candidates and the voting of the congregation.

Featured Potential Church Planting Site: Montpelier, Vermont
1. Pray for the work of God’s Spirit among the people of Vermont’s capital city.
2. Pray for God’s blessing upon the church in northern Vermont.
3. Pray that God would bring forward church planters for this region of northern New England in due season.

1. Pray for the members of the committee as they seek to identify potential prayer and financial partners in preparation for their November meeting.
2. Pray for the development of deeper relationships with individuals who have already indicated an interest in being involved in the progress of the church in this region.

Northern New England Presbytery
1. Pray for God’s blessing upon the presbytery meeting on Saturday. Pray for safety in travel and unity in worship and deliberation for the men participating in the meeting.

Featured Church/Mission: Free Grace Presbyterian Mission, Lewiston, ME (submitted by Pastor Per Almquist)
1. Praise that we can see God's hand at work in our lives, the lives of the people of Free Grace, and in our community. We continue to see his grace and glory shine through our weakness and brokenness.
2. For continual deepening of our relationships with others in the community. That God would continue to draw people into his church through his people.
3. For many in our group who are struggling with life. That we all would place our trust and faith in God and not in finances, health, etc. Pray especially as we begin preparing for what is forecasted as a cold winter and heating homes is a major source of concern for many in our community and at Free Grace.
4. For us to continue to look to God to provide all that we need to do his work. That we would not place our trust in our plans, pledges, etc. but continue to look to him at all times - especially as we come out of an expensive summer of ministry with some loss of donations.
5. For Ken and Linda Morris as they seek to sell their home in Missouri, raise the last 25% of their support, and prepare to move to Maine to begin their counseling ministry.

Featured Potential Church Planting Site: Burlington, VT
1. Pray that God’s grace would be known among the people of Burlington.
2. Pray for the students, faculty, administration, and staff at the University of Vermont.
2. Pray for the progress of the church in that region and the direction of the Holy Spirit regarding church planting there.

MNA Committee work:
1. Pray for God’s direction and guidance in the next committee meeting on October 9.
2. Pray for the committee members as they make initial contacts with potential prayer and financial support partners.
3. Pray for the identification of individuals interested in serving the church in northern New England.
